Artist analysis
Vanessa Mckeown is an average photographer who enjoys creating fun and imaginative photographs by using food and objects combined to make an object or replica of food. Her photos are very vibrant in colour as the background and objects are very bright. The mix of bright colour in the images make the atmosphere when viewing the photos a very happy and excited sort of atmosphere like its an image which would attract children. In these images i can see a shadow which is reflected behind the object in the image, in my images i don't want to show this shadow as i don't think it looks good in the image. Different colours have different meanings depending on what the photographer wants the colour to represent. She may have certain meaning over the colours used in the images but we have to take our own thoughts into consideration. I think that the contrasting colours definitely in the middle photo stand out a lot, because it makes the viewer look at all aspects of the photo. I think if the background colours weren't bright then the imaged wouldn't be as fun to look at. She has experimented with all different types of food and objects to make them fun and imaginative and they all have that original feel that nobody else has thought of doing this sort of fun and funny photography. Vanessa would've took her time in planning these photoshoots, deciding how the lighting should be (To try and avoid unnecessary shadows in her images) also deciding which coloured background to use and how to arrange the objects and food in a way which represents something.

Development
For development in these images, i've taken my original photos and placed them next to images which they are trying to represent. I think this helps show what my images are trying to portray. I didn't really need to do much editing to these images because i developed them whilst taking the images. When coming up to the development process i decided to show both of the images so viewers can see what im trying to do with different foods.
